Labelling
Background: the Directive consolidates and repeals Council Directive 79/112/EEC on the labelling, presentation and advertising of foodstuffs and its subsequent amendments (Council Directives 85/7/EEC, 86/197/EEC and 89/395/EEC, Commission Directives 91/72/EEC, 93/102/EC and 95/42/EC and Directive 97/4/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council).
